Paris Day 3

Got up at 8am, showered and packed since we had to check-out by 10am. Made some sandwiches for lunch to save some money. (what to do...budget ma) Checked out and bid our very unfriendly hotel host goodbye and headed to Gare d'Austerlitz station. Kept our luggage in the lockers for €7 (medium locker) and went off to explore the city till it was time to catch our train to Nice at 8.30pm.

Headed to the Saint Sulpice Church. It was under renovation...what a shame...we couldn't snap pics of the outside. This is the church in the Da Vinci Code, where the "Rose Line" was used as a clue to the Holy Grail. (but the church denied it...duh!)

I got greedy (as usual) so rif bought me a slice of apple pie from a bakery nearby the hotel we stayed at. I quickly looked for a place to sit and unwrapped my dessert! It was nice...nicer than most of the pastries in KL but I expected it to be better.

Chomping on my pie.....nyek nyek nyek... :p

Had dinner at a kebab house nearby and headed straight to Gare d'Austerlitz to catch our night train to Nice. It was my first time (and rif's as well) sleeping on a night train. :)
